On the morning of April 5, 2024, the Tapovan Vishnugad family welcomed its new Welfare bus for its employees. The occasion was graced by the presence of Sh. A.M. Nahar (GM & HOP - TV & LT), Sh. Manmeet Bedi (GM - Project), Sh. Sanjeev Arora (GM - Technical Services), Smt. Manisha Nahar (President - Alaknanda Mahila Samiti), Smt. Alka Arora (Secretary - A.M.S.), HODs, and fellow employees. On this occasion, Sh. A.M. Nahar performed the inaugural pooja for the vehicle and waved off the green flag for its first journey. Whereas, Smt. Manisha Nahar cut the ribbon to mark its first trip. The vehicle will be used for transit between NTPC's Transit Camp in Haridwar and Alaknanda Vihar Township of NTPC Tapovan in Joshimath.
